Sundance School is a dual track school offering programs in both English and French Immersion.

Sundance School understands that attending to school culture is the most effective way to ensure an environment in which children are safe and meaningfully engaged.

The school was built in 1982 and is situated on 9.2 acres. The school has 20 classrooms, a large gymnasium, a music room on the stage, and a library. The Sundance community was named in honour of the greatest festival of the First Nations of the Plains – the Sun Dance. The park and lake provide a focal point for the entire community, and the first school built in the area was logically named Sundance School.

École Sundance School is committed to the development of each child’s potential, to the building in each child’s positive self-concept and to helping to develop in each child an inquisitive spirit and a desire for life long learning.
